Volunteer Opportunities

The Research Showcase is an annual two-day conference highlighting the scholarly and creative activities of students and faculty, hosted by the University Research Council. As a St. Mary’s alumni, we invite you to serve as a volunteer judge to help mentor and guide our current students. Your experiences are imperative and can make a huge difference by helping our Rattlers gain further confidence and inspiration along their academic journeys.

You will be paired with students based on your preferred research themes/topics according to your interests and area of expertise.

Continuing the Heritage, a tradition since 1997, has brought together thousands of St. Mary’s University students, employees and alumni to be a part of a day of community service.

Join your fellow Rattlers — past and present — for a day of making a difference together! This is your chance to connect with students while giving back through hands-on service projects throughout San Antonio. It’s a great way to share your St. Mary’s spirit, make new memories and leave a lasting impact alongside the next generation of Rattlers!

The Office of Residence Life invites all faculty and staff to be a part of the Fall 2026 Rattler Move-In Crew! Rattler Move-In Crew volunteers help our new students and their families with the move-in process by greeting, guiding and assisting their move into their assigned residence hall.

If you are interested in joining the Rattler Move-In Crew, click the button below to sign up by Sunday, July 19. You will receive an email confirming your participation by Friday, July 31.
