The St. Mary’s University Alumni Association takes great pride in supporting access to higher education through the Alumni Association Scholarship Program. Currently, the Alumni Association provides full and partial scholarship assistance to 66 students. Scholarship funds are made possible through money raised during the annual Fiesta Oyster Bake, Oysters & Pearls Scholarship Gala, the Annual Golf Tournament and the generosity of alumni.
1. Must be a high school graduating senior or incoming freshmen with no college hours.
2. Must be nominated by a verifiable St. Mary’s University alum.
3. Students must have received acceptance to St. Mary’s University as an undergraduate student for the upcoming academic year.
Transfer students are not eligible.
Nominations for the 2018-2019 academic year are due no later than February 1, 2018. Late nominations will not be accepted.
At this time we only accept nominations from verifiable St. Mary’s University alumni. As a result of the recommendation, the Alumni Association will fund the student’s application fee. If the student is selected, he or she will receive a call from a committee member and will need to make a decision by May 1, 2018.
