Denise Garcia Van Wyngaardt (B.A. ’97) is the CEO of Indigo IT, a government contracting business located outside of Washington, D.C., that provides IT solutions and services to the federal government and commercial clients in the areas of cloud computing, cybersecurity and IT service management.

Garcia Van Wyngaardt has instilled a values-based philosophy in Indigo IT’s culture and operations that has shaped Indigo IT into an award-winning IT service provider in a highly competitive industry.

A proud Latina and Texas native, Garcia Van Wyngaardt graduated from St. Mary’s University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She was also a Public Policy and International Affairs Fellow and received her master’s degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Garcia Van Wyngaardt serves on the Advisory Council of Executives for the Greehey School of Business at St. Mary’s University.
